Monday, December 29, 2003 I'm such a sore loser! I played Simpson's Monopoly with Cristin last night. I thought you couldn't collect rent while you were in jail. I was wrong! I could've won if I hadn't got greedy and bought Disco Stu's for $3000 from Cristin! Anyway, she pretty much got all my money in about 20 minutes after that move. We got a lot of cleaning done this weekend and did some grocery shopping and laundry done. I love our domestic weekends! I work Tuesday-Friday this week so I am glad I got some time off. I think I worked 1 shift in the last 11 days! If you are in NYC for New Year's then drop by the BPC for poetic fun! Check my link page for info! I am looking forward to 2004. Tuesday, December 23, 2003 I've already had two Christmas's and a third one is on the way! Just got back from my brother's house in Columbus. It was great to see my nephew Luke! He's walking and talking already! He had two birthday parties and has Christmas coming as well! Of course he's too little to know what's going on but he is really raking it in gift-wise! He really dug the vintage toy custom van I got him. Also I got him some keys that light up and make sounds, babies love keys! I got some nice duds and some Simpsons stuff and of course lots of Pez! Chris and Katie got me a cool flying Batman and I also got a strand of Scrabble lights so now we can combine the ones I got Cristin and spell out all kinds of stuff! Snoo and I decided to exchange gifts tonight as well. She got me a cool Duff Beer bowling shirt, a gift certificate to my fave used book store, a subscription to Comics Journal and 2 tickets to the Westminster DOG SHOW! It'll be BEST IN SHOW! I'm super excited to make a day of it! I got snoo Barcelona on DVD and a book about Whit Stilman a wiener dog statue and calendar! It's been a groovy holiday so far. The only bummer is that I missed the holiday party at the BPC. Can't do it all, I guess! I'll be there tomorrow for Holiday Karoke! Everyone have a great holiday! posted by Shappy at 2:00 AM

ME SICK!
Well, not so much anymore. I think I had a 24 hour thing. I kept dozing off every 2 hours and sniffling and sneezing. I'm feeling better now. Can't be sick for my visit to baby nephew Luke! I have gone baby shopping crazy! I now stop myself cuz I realize he's only 1 and would probally swallow all the Star Wars figures I would like to give him! Cristin has finished re-tooling her screenplay so now she can relax and enjoy the Holidays.

Sunday, December 14, 2003 Shopping done! Wait, I gotta get something else for that person or the other person will get mad! It never ends! I'm still waiting for a lot of stuff to get here from my on-line shopping spree! Snoo and I went shopping today and had dinner with Susan Rice (Cristin's screenwriting mentor and the nice woman who lets us cat-sit for her!) Ernie sent some great stuff in the mail including all the Clone Wars cartoons (which I'm watching right now-they are Awesome!) I lost the semi-finals but had a good time performing. I see my family in less than a week and then holiday party at the BPC and then Christmas with the Aptowicz's and a tiny baby Christmas for just me and Cristin. Then I work New Year's. Sunday, December 07, 2003 It's a BLIZZARD! (and not the good DQ kind!) So, I worked last night in the club during the snow storm and still made out better than I thought I would. Bad weather is horrible for live entertainment! So today was the stay indoors day for me and Cristin. (Which is pretty much EVERY weekend!) Cristin is putting a lot of work into her screenplay and I just wanted to watch movies. Of course we didn't agree on any of them. So I gave up and went into cleaning mode and tidied up the man-den and played some Atari. I really gotta get some X-MAS shopping done quick cuz I'm doing an early one this year to celebrate my nephew's first birthday (Dec 17). Wednesday, December 03, 2003 Made some good scores at the Big Apple comic book convention this past Sunday. I got a set of the best of SNL on VHS for $12! And the special edition of Tron on DVD for $10! Found some cool old comics too like I SPY and Man from UNCLE. Now that we have the digital camera I'm hoping to try and sell some stuff on eBay!
