Hey, true believers!

Well, I was at the club every day this week! Set up a party on Monday. Worked Tuesday. Had a show there Wednesday. Worked Thursday and Friday and dropped in on Saturday! Made some good tips though. And the show on Wednesday was great! My old comedy pal from Chicago Jen Kirwan came and did a set and offered me a spot at her new room! I'm excited to invade the NYC comedy scene! Tonite we celebrate Cristin's 24th b-day!

So here's a list of stuff that's happened-

-Me and Cristin did a show where we painted stuff on a painting based on our poems! Mine turned out pretty good. Cristin painted over most of her additions.
-I met a guy from a NYC based comedy magazine and maybe I'll be doing some writing for them.
-I learned that Meow Mix is haunted! Two of the bartenders and the bouncer told me some very creepy tales!
-Me and Cristin went to some NYU lecture with the cast of Russell Simmons Def Poetry on Broadway -I'll hold my tounge for now, however we did sneak out early to go to Johnny Rockets and then 15 minutes later Russell Simmons came in to get a burger!
-Only 9 days til Cristin meets my folks after 2 years of dating!
-I've got a terrific show lined-up for Wednesday night! SEE UPCOMING SHOWS! Please come!

Hey! This is like, ridiculous, right? I've had a crazy week at the club what with 2 bartenders in LA and me training new folks and filling in and staying out late. The deal is I don't get to a computer much and when I do I just check e-mail and reply in short blurbs. So I apologize for not updating! I promise a great big detailed synopsis tomorrow! Keep the faith!

Shap is sitting next to me reading the comix journal. We just came home from watching "Bowling for Columbine," which we realized was the first movie we had seen in the theatres since "Eight-Legged Freaks," which must have been August. To his credit, seeing "Eight-Legged Freaks" was my idea, and seeing "Bowling for Columbine" was his idea, so there. Now, we are just relaxing, watching tv and reading. I always complain to Shap that his entries are too dry, and this one is pure boring. THE END.

Well, Snoo has pretty much said it all! Sleepy Hollow was indeed very sleepy. It was so nice to see actual trees actually changing colors. The wedding was pretty much like all weddings. It was almost like being in one of those "inter-active" wedding shows. So much good FREE food! Plus the place we stayed at was this sprawling mansion/estate that had a bowling alley, sauna, massage, bocci ball, free internet and wow what a bargain rate! We hope to go back again sometime. It's only an hour away! twas a great trip and Cristin looked reaaallly cute and fashion forward and really tore it up on the dance floor! Sometimes I just sat there and drank in Cristin's glowing glow. Also, I drank in FREE BOOZE! YAY WEDDINGS! Good luck to Meg and Chris!

List of Thing Cristin Will Force Me To Write About Our Weekend Together in Sleepy Hollow
by Cristin who has snuck into Shappy's Blogger Account

* What a great time we had.
* How well he behaved himself whilst sat at a table with the bride's ultra conserative side the family, which includes a dad wearing a tie covered in red, white and blue elephants and a 15-year-old daughter who once played a practical joke on her dad by pretending she had written a "pro-immigration essay."
* How cute he looked at the wedding in Bert (of Bert and Ernie fame) shoes and how he introduced himself to everyone using his real name and how cute that was.
* How every place we went was owned by a famous dead person
* How beautiful that bed and breakfast was
* How little of Sleepy Hollow is non-residential hence;
* How much cable we watched.
* How great our breakfasts were with omelette stations and view of the Hudson like a postcard.
* How totally ridiculously awesome the two teenage metalheads on the downtown 6 trains were.
* How great a girlfriend I am, despite doing things like breaking into his account and writing lists like this.
* And lastly, how walking around the dark streets of Sleepy Hollow and hearing the ghostly sounds of a group of people singing "We are the World" in the distance is THE scariest thing in the world to Shap, other than snakes.
